The Adaptive Regulation System is designed so that inclusion, behaviour, safeguarding and leadership evidence comes from consistent everyday practice — aligned with the grading areas of the 2026 inspection framework, without adding workload.
Inclusion
Early identification of needs through structured reflection, not waiting for crisis.
Stronger SEND provision with adjustments recorded, reviewed and visible to all staff.
Reduced barriers to learning and wellbeing for disadvantaged and SEND learners.
Behaviour
Consistent staff practice: the same calm, safe responses from every adult.
Reduced dysregulation through predictable routines and previewed transitions.
Improved participation as cognitive load and sensory barriers are designed out.
Safeguarding
Safer responses to distress built on trauma-informed communication.
Emotional literacy development so learners can communicate before crisis.
Clear escalation routes — the system supports, and never replaces, safeguarding procedures.
Leadership
Evidence-based decision-making from consistency logs, wellbeing trends and graduated approach reviews.
Alignment with statutory guidance and the graduated approach (assess → plan → do → review).
Reasonable adjustments documented as whole-school provision, not individual goodwill.
These are the outcomes the system is designed to support. NeuroScope is not endorsed by Ofsted, and no inspection outcome is guaranteed — the evidence is always generated by your school's own practice.
Module 6 · Leadership Evidence & Monitoring
Monitoring that does not create workload.
Each instrument records what staff already do, in a form leaders can review. Evidence dashboards are a planned development — they are not live today.
Regulation consistency logs
Are agreed calm responses being used by every adult, in every classroom?
Wellbeing trends
Patterns in wellbeing and participation reviewed in context, never as isolated numbers.
Sensory adjustments
Which adjustments were offered, which were used, and what changed as a result.
Staff training completion
Neurodiversity and unconscious bias learning tracked as whole-staff practice.
SEND adaptations
Adjustments recorded with the learner's response and the next review date.
Graduated approach reviews
Assess → plan → do → review cycles kept current and auditable.
Inclusion checklists
Structured self-evaluation against inclusive teaching expectations.
Behaviour consistency logs
Responses to distress recorded for pattern review, not blame.
Institutional reporting is not live yet.
Daily Coach offers personal check-ins and weekly review for adults. School-wide mood trends, usage dashboards, risk flags and pupil impact reporting are proposed features; no school data is shown here.
Decision-maker checklist
Aligned with inspection expectations.

Early identification of needs through structured reflection
Graduated approach: assess → plan → do → review
Calm, consistent behaviour responses from every adult
Emotional literacy taught, modelled and prompted

Predictable routines and previewed transitions
Staff training in neurodiversity and unconscious bias
Accessible communication: written, visual and spoken
Evidence leaders can use for self-evaluation

Plan a responsible pilot
A credible pilot begins with an agreed baseline, a few meaningful measures and learner voice — not a promise that a tool will reduce incidents or improve attainment. Agree aims → establish a baseline → offer support → collect minimal feedback → review context → adapt. Set access, consent, retention and safeguarding arrangements before collecting sensitive information. Never enter identifiable pupil records into adult coaching conversations.
The downloadable template is a planning aid, not a validated clinical scale or inspection evidence generated by the platform.
